Determining Your PowerReviews Display Version – PowerReviews Help Center

It's important to understand the version of PowerReviews you're using on your website so that you can implement and update your software appropriately.

The following table contains characteristics of each version of PowerReviews software. To determine your version, read the list of characteristics and compare them to the code on your PDP.

If your code matches the description and characteristics for Display 3, you can find your help documentation here. If your code matches the description and characteristics of Display 4, you may be on 4.0 or 4.1. The latter is our most recent Display 4 version and what our standard documentation now references. Display 3 (Legacy)	Display 4
You use a ZIP file which PowerReviews sends you, or you host the ZIP file on Akamai. The code on your PDPs uses full.js and applaunch.js. See Checking Your Code for more information on locating the JavaScript on your PDP. The code on your PDP might contain a reference to cdn.powerreviews.com. The code on your PDP contains variables that all begin with pr_ For example: pr_page_id.	You use an API and have a read_services_api_key. All of your data resides in the cloud, but PowerReviews can provide you an XML file upon request to an (S)FTP. The code on your PDPs uses ui.js which PowerReviews hosts. The code on your PDP contains variables that don't begin with pr_ For example: page_id. The code on your PDP contains the api_key variable.

Checking Your Code

You can view the code on your PDP to determine which version of PowerReviews software you're using. To view the code on your PDP:

1. Navigate to your PDP using the Google Chrome browser.
2. Right-click on the page.
3. Select Inspect. The Elements window opens.
