You can create shopping ads on Google where your potential customers can see what you're selling. This is known as a Product Listing Ad (PLA).
A Google PLA shows potential customers a photo of your product, the product name, the price, a store name, and additional information. PLAs give potential customers a strong sense of the product you're selling before they click the ad, which gives you more-qualified leads.
PowerReviews can syndicate your product star ratings to Google to increase clickthrough rates from a Search Engine Results Page (SERP) to your PDPs. PowerReviews is an approved aggregator, so we can provide a direct syndication feed of reviews to Google on your behalf.
Example (Google PLAs):
Requirements and Considerations
In order for your product star ratings to appear in Google PLAs, you must have at least 50 native reviews across all of your products, and at least 3 unique reviews on the product in question.
You may likely need to wait 4-6 weeks for your product star ratings to appear in PLAs. Additionally, Google can't guarantee that the product star ratings will appear for each search since they use proprietary logic to ensure only high-quality reviews appear on SERPs.
Process
To syndicate your product star ratings to Google PLAs (after meeting the requirements above), you must:
1. Provide Product Data to PowerReviews (for more information, see Product Data Options & Considerations)
2. Sign up for Product Ratings through Google (for more information, see Google Product Ratings)
Once you complete these two steps, let PowerReviews know you'd like your data sent to Google PLAs and we will enable this feature for you via our backend.
The Google PLA process sends an incremental XML file of your reviews weekly. This process also sends a full XML file of your monthly reviews to the Partners URL. Google crawls both of these URLs on a set schedule to find new files.
Note: Google PLAs is a separate feature from our Google Seller Ratings offering.
