You can customize how customer reviews appear on your Product Detail Pages (PDPs) in two key ways: Vertical Pagination and a Condensed Review List. These options help you tailor the review experience to best suit your website's design and user flow.
Vertical Pagination
Instead of the standard "Previous" and "Next" links, Vertical Pagination gives users a single "+ Show More Reviews" button. When clicked, this button seamlessly loads more reviews directly onto the page, creating a continuous scrolling experience.

When to Use This: This option is great if you want to simplify the user experience and aren't worried about vertical space on your PDPs. It encourages users to keep scrolling and discover more review content.
Important Note: If your review display is hidden within a tab (like a "Reviews" tab), we recommend sticking with the standard "Previous" and "Next" links. This prevents a single tab from becoming excessively long and harder to navigate.
(By default, PowerReviews shows 10 reviews per page with standard pagination. We can adjust this number for you if needed.)
Condensed Review List
The Condensed Review List transforms the appearance of your reviews from a full, standard display to a more compact, streamlined version.
In this style, only the essential review details are initially visible. Most of the review text is hidden behind a "[+]" button, and you can even set a character limit for the visible portion. This character limit is configurable by PowerReviews based on your preferences.

When to Use This: Choose the Condensed Review List if you're looking for a minimalist review implementation that quickly highlights key information for potential customers, especially when screen space is limited.
